Bollywood's 'Circuit' Celebrates Birthday

One of the most comically talented actors of Bollywood, actor Arshad Warsi worked as a door to door salesman and then in a photo lab to support himself financially during his younger days. However, a keen interest in dancing made him join up a dance troupe and a young Arshad later went on to form his own dancing troupe, where he met Maria Goretti, who he later married.
 
Warsi made his debut with Tere Mere Sapne, an ABCL (Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited), where his comic timing and sense of humour came to be noticed. Though Warsi did not meet with much success in his later films, it was in 2003 that he landed the role of Circuit, a lovable goon in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Munna Bhai M.B.B.S, a comedy drama, which made Warsi a household name. Warsi's chemistry with lead actor Sanjay Dutt also came to be much appreciated and the duo went on to act in another movie in the same series titled Lage Raho Munnabhai. Apart from comedy, Warsi also tried his hand at serious roles and gained accolades for his performance as the upright IPS officer in Sehar, a movie about underworld gangs in North India.
 
Warsi also tried his hand at production with Hum Tum Aur Ghost, which released in 2010. Warsi will be next seen starring alongside his 'Munnabhai' co-star Sanjay Dutt in Zilla Ghaziabad and the third film in the 'Munnabhai' series as well as the sequel to Ishqiya titled Dedh Ishqiya.
