As the Bipasha Basu and Madhavan starrer JODI BREAKERS is all set to release this Friday, we bring you some fun-filled moments from the sets of the film.The cast of JODI BREAKERS were divided into two groups, a male and a female gang. The female gang included Bipasha Basu, Dipannita Sharma and Mrinalini Sharma who used to go shopping once the shoot got over and the guy gang Madhavan, Omi Vaidya and director Ashwini Chaudhry used to go hopping in casinos and gamble.
May be the male trio was putting all their efforts to make money and the girl gang was on a spending spree!
Jodi Breaker girls lost the fun at Mykonos Island?
After the shoot Bipasha Basu, Dipannita Sharma and Mrinalini Sharma used to hit the gym as they are all fitness freaks while Madhavan, Omi and Ashwini went clubbing to enjoy Mykonos Island's night life.
Everyday Madhavan, Omi and Ashwini used to go to the clubs at Mykonos Island (Mykonos Island is known for its nightlife) and just couldn't stop clubbing, hogging delicious cuisines and gamble all night long. They even taught some Bollywood dance moves to the Greek audience in the club. They set the Greek audience grooving on the dance steps of Bollywood actors right from veteran Dilip Kumar to Sunny Deol.
After one point of time when Madhavan, Omi and Ashwini used to enter the club, the club as a tribute started playing 'Jai Ho' as that was the only Bollywood song available in Greece.
A unit of 75 people had been to Greece for the shooting of JODI BREAKERS. After a point of time the main unit couldn't take anymore of Greek food and was dying to taste some Indian delicacy.
Witnessing such a scenario twenty young Punjabi boys from Mykanos, who were also part of the group and huge fans of Bipasha Basu, took charge and arranged delicious Punjabi food like Sarson da saag and Makke di roti.
At the sight of this mouth watering desi food, the unit at once pounced on the food and relished it to the fullest. Observing this Maddy, Bipasha and other cast members left the Greek food aside and joined the rest to relish the Indian food.
While shooting in Greece, Maddy who is very fond of pickles was very upset with his staff as they forgot to carry pickles from India.
A Sardar, who was a local junior artist, when he got to know about Maddy's pickle fetish, immediately arranged some home-made acchar for the actor. Maddy was so touched by his gesture that he thanked him with a hug and also clicked pictures with his whole family. Last heard, Maddy was so obsessed with the acchar that he made director Ashwini Chaudhary beg to even taste it.
Before the JODI BREAKERS shoot started, the crew was under an impression that Bipasha would throw huge tantrums as per the stories heard about her. But as soon as the shooting commenced to everyone's surprise Basu proved them all wrong and made everyone fall in love with her persona.
In case she was unfair to anyone, it couldn't be ignored how kind hearted she is, the actress would end up buying presents for them and make their day!
In one of the scenes of the song "Jab Mein Tumhare Saath Hoon" Milind Soman and Dipannita Sharma had to buy jewellery from a jewellery store and Madhavan and Bipasha just had to watch them buying it.
This scene got Maddy miss his wife Sarita so much so that as soon as the shot was wrapped up, he really ended up buying an expensive jewellery piece to surprise her, which left all the female cast and crew in awe!
On the last day of the shoot Helenji bought a huge cake for the whole cast and crew and celebrated the successful completion of the film by cutting the cake. Bipasha didn't stay behind as even she brought the mouthwatering Kheer Kadam sweets and herself fed the whole cast and crew.
